JUDGE ST— Republican congressional hopeful Jackie Mary Auringer has an old YouTube account with playlists that feature racist and homophobic slurs in the titles, and she appears to have forgotten to take them down before launching her campaign against Congressman Pat Ryan.
Auringer made one playlist called “may niggggsz.”
It features four songs: LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” ft. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything (Tonight)” ft. Ne-Yo, Nayer and Afrojack, Wynter Gordon’s “Dirty Talk” ft. David Guetta, and “Don’t Turn Out the Lights” by New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys.
“As a Republican, I've stood in rooms at Mar-a-Lago and organized with conservatives in Palm Beach. As a member of a multi-ethnic family, I'm equally at home standing at a Black Lives Matter demonstration beside people who see the world differently,” Auringer said in a May press release on her campaign website.
In 2020, Auringer attended a Black Lives Matter protest in Kingston and waved a sign that said, “I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND BUT I STAND WITH YOU #BLACKLIVESMATTER.”
Auringer campaign spokesperson Dave Catalfamo told the Judge Street Journal “you know that she is from a biracial family.”
He sent a photo of Auringer’s cousins, several of whom do not appear to be white.
“Tom Auringers kids in here - black and Hispanic- 4 wives i believe,” Catalfamo told the Journal in a text. “Clearly a racist.”
Tom is Jackie Auringer’s uncle. He has been misidentified by the Daily Freeman as her father in two stories.
“Not only is Pat Ryan an unethical hypocrite, who illegally uses taxpayer dollars to support his fancy private life, he is also a race baiter who stalks the social media accounts of 12-year-old girls. Pat Ryan needs to hire a lawyer and go to confession,” Catalfamo said in a statement.
Auringer also made a playlist called “lololfagz” that includes Drake's “I'm Still Fly” and the Notorious B.I.G.'s “Sky’s the Limit.”
In June, Auringer received an endorsement from the Log Cabin Republicans PAC.
“The Hudson Valley is full of people who may not agree on every issue, but who still believe in a basic idea: you should be free to live your life, build your future, love who you love, and be treated with respect. That should not be a partisan idea,” she said in a press release touting the support.
YouTube does not provide public details on when Auringer created the playlists. She uploaded three of her own videos to the account while she was a student at Kingston High School. Catalfamo claimed that multiple people had access to the account. He did not provide evidence to indicate Auringer’s age when she created the playlists.
Auringer’s family owns several construction businesses that operate in the Hudson Valley, New York City, and Florida.
According to her personal financial disclosure, Auringer earned $52,040 in 2025 working for one of her family’s companies, Urban Precast, which describes itself as the “premier fabricator and precast plank erector in the New York metro area.”
For years, employees have accused Tom Auringer of ignoring safety protocols and violating workers’ rights. Two of his former employees said racism was commonplace.
“Members of the Auringer family called [Carroll] Turner ‘a donkey and a n****r,’” according to an affidavit cited in a 2015 report about labor conditions on affordable housing projects. Turner is a Jamaican immigrant.
Tom Auringer told Turner that he could “afford to lose twenty five black or Hispanics because we are easy to replace but he can’t afford to lose one white man,” according to the affidavit.
“When I broke my finger and got it crushed, [Tom Auringer] told my foreman ‘tell Turner he can cut off his finger and sue me, but if he doesn’t come back to work he will be fired. He will be out of a job,’” Turner said in his affidavit.
Turner worked for the Auringers’ construction firms for more than a decade, and he was an outspoken critic of his employer.
“We've been working for all these years in unsafe conditions,” Turner told the Daily News in 2014. “You could work 45 hours this week and when you get paid, they only pay you for 42 or 40 hours.”
Another employee, LaFondra Brown, said one of the Auringers’ companies regularly subjected her to racial and sexual harassment. The company forced her to weld, despite not having the requisite certification, she said, and as a result, she suffered temporary blindness.
“I’ve been called a monkey. I’ve been spat at. I’ve been sexually assaulted by company management,” Brown said in a 2015 affidavit.
Jackie Auringer has said that she “spent her life in construction” working for her family’s companies.
“Every day, crews like this are dealing with rising costs, delays, and regulations that make it harder to get the job done. And that’s what I’m focused on fixing,” she said in a campaign video she filmed in Florida. “This is what keeps our communities running. If we want to fix the economy, we need to start by listening to the people who are out here doing the work.”
Before entering politics, Auringer competed in beauty pageants under her middle name.
“Mary wishes to end all stigmas. She works with students to teach the importance of kindness and acceptance of others,” the pageant’s MC said as Auringer walked across the stage at the 2020 Miss Florida pageant. “Her passion is to make everyone feel important.”
